Junior Systems Engineer - London

FutureDeluxe is looking for a proactive, ambitious and technically talented individual to join its growing global team. This individual must have at least 1 year experience working in the engineering aspect of preferably VFX/creative companies. They must exhibit strong examples of initiative and autonomy and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of VFX/Design workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting technical issues that arise for our team.
Manage, maintain and support windows workstations across 3 studios: London, LA and Sydney.
Craft pipeline and workflow tools using Python and other languages.
Manage multiple Windows Active Directory Sites.
Maintain a detailed inventory of all hardware and software licenses in the studio.
Manage data workflows.
Maintaining the Deadline GPU farm and troubleshooting issues that arise.

Essential Skills
Well organised with strong planning and problem solving skills.
Proactive and the ability to operate autonomously but also as part of a team.
Experience managing a Windows infrastructure (Windows AD, Windows Server).
Knowledge in managing and configuring Networking services.

Bonus Skills
Experience with Houdini, Cinema 4d, Adobe Creative Suite, Nuke, and other VFX software is preferable.
Experience rendering with Deadline.
Experience with working in AWS.
Experience in IT Security and handling of sensitive material.
Experience with data centre stacks.
Experience with remote working/Teradici + RGS.
Experience with version control systems eg Perforce/GitHub
