The Ferrari Collection
Bang & Olufsen continues its collaboration with Ferrari, three new statement products join the lineup: the Beolab 50 Ferrari Edition, Beovision Theatre Ferrari Edition and Beosound Theatre Ferrari Edition. This fusion of Danish design and Italian flair are bought together in a symphony of sight and sound.
Race into sound
At the heart of this project was the idea of connection, how could we communicate the synergy of Bang & Olufsen and Ferrari. The project involved crafting three short cinematic films, each designed to reveal the high-performance products in a transcendental way, emphasising their innovation.
The challenge was to highlight the audio quality and design of Bang & Olufsen, whilst embodying Ferrari’s iconic spirit of speed, energy and precision. Each frame was meticulously considered, from the textures and lighting to how the Ferrari red beam interacts with each product, making it a key motif throughout.
Research and development
In order to capture the DNA of Ferrari and Bang & Olufsen, we used the visual concept of the red beam to symbolise Ferrari’s automotive heritage which weaves around the speakers, interjecting energy and speed amplifying the high-performance audio products.
The combination of moving light effects and slow shutter cameras in computer graphics embodies Ferrari’s speed, creating a stunning contrast between the high-speed action with the elegant slow shots paying homage to Bang & Olufsen’s dedication to precision and craftsmanship.
