Multi Mirror
Multi-Mirror is an award winning research collaboration with Samsung, exploring interactive ambient wallpaper systems for future TV and mobile.
How might our art within our home be a playful reflection of our presence, multimodal inputs & intuitive cross screen multitasking?
FutureDeluxe were commissioned to explore the creation of a modular ambient art system that can be modified by a wide range of home inputs; everything from multi-user presence, to audio, to cross-screen connections and mobile touch interactions can be used as variables to influence the work.
The base system is designed to operate ambiently in anti-gravity with each stylised data-block indicative of the types of content the user & household have been engaging with.
Physics, structures, colour, forms and materials are all modified based on the inputs from the technology being used in the home and around the artwork, influencing its look and behaviours on the fly.
Cross Screen Interactions
Through wireless streaming technology, a mobile device automatically connects when it gets close to the TV, allowing various mobile interactions to stream simultaneously to affect the artwork ↓
